Jumping Elephants ?

When you were a kid, you can see funny elephants that moving so fast and jumping and even flying on your favorite cartoon. And now, I'm sure that you realized that elephant can't moving fast and of course they can't flying. But, how about the jumps? maybe some of you realized that elephants can't jump and maybe most some of you don't even care realized it. Do you know why elephants can't jump? here is the reasons

The most acceptable reason is that elephant is too heavy to jump. Imagine, how much power that they need to throw that huge body? and what happen when they landed? earth quake? or maybe they can break their legs.

Another reason why elephants can't jump is because they don't need to. There is no use for elephants to jump!. Frogs, Kangaroos, and another animals jumping to escape from predators and to find some foods. But elephants have their own way to face the predators and find their foods.

They use their strength to face them. It makes their legs not designed to jump. To jump you need strong muscle and flexible joint but elephant's legs is designed to support their weight and to walk in obstacles.

That is some reasons why elephants can't jump. And another mammal like hippopotamus and rhino can't jumps too.
